Cross-domain Thinking
Find solutions to all sorts of problems by getting creative.

The idea of taking a process (or a way of thinking) from one domain, and applying it in a different one. This is what I call cross domain thinking.
It can be a really useful technique when trying to improve something or in brainstorming sessions.
But aside the "professional" aspect, there are more areas where this can be applied.
And I strongly suggest doing this exercise. Practice it as much as possible. I see a lot of benefits from seeing things with a different perspective.
